Our Firm

Jack A. Alli, Sons & Co. (JAS), established by Jack Ameer Alli in 1966, is a leading professional services firm in Guyana, providing integrated services in Audit and Assurance, Taxation, Consulting, Corporate Finance, Business Recovery, Transaction and Deal Strategy and Regulatory Remediation. The firm is a partnership registered under the Business Names Registration Act of Guyana.

Our People

Our firm presently has three partners – Ronald Alli, Khalil Alli and Javed A. Alli.

Ronald Alli

Partner

Ronald has served as the primary principal in the firm since 1979. Over that time he has been responsible for audit and tax assignments on many large and diverse enterprises including local affiliates of several international and regional companies.

Ronald is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.  He is a past president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Guyana as well as a past president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Caribbean.

In 1990 he was awarded the Golden Arrow of Achievement for service to Guyana.

Khalil Alli

Partner

Khalil joined the firm in 2000 and was admitted to the partnership in 2005.  He has provided professional services to entities in a wide variety of industries in Guyana including banking, insurance, mining, petroleum, manufacturing, retail and distribution, and professional services.

In addition to vast audit experience, Khalil advises large local and foreign companies on taxation, securities markets, ESG and other governance matters in Guyana.

Khalil is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is a past president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Guyana and also served as President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Caribbean over the term 2019 to 2021.

Khalil is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), having completed undergraduate and graduate programs in Economics at that institution.  He holds an Advanced Professional Certificate in Transfer Pricing from the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD).  He was named a Guyana Scholar in 1992.

Javed Alli

Partner

Javed joined the firm in 2009 and was admitted to the partnership in 2021. Javed has over 18 years of progressive professional services experience developed through a wide range of clients and projects in Guyana, the Caribbean and North America.

Javed works with clients to address their audit, risk assurance and tax requirements. He is also passionate about assisting organisations in cultivating capabilities in digital finance, cybersecurity and IFRS 17’s accounting, data and technology.

Javed is a Canadian Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds leading industry certifications in Cybersecurity, IT Audit and Risk Management from ISC2 and ISACA, respectively. He is also an international associate member of the American Institute of CPAs. He has earned a honours bachelor’s degree from Western University (Canada) with specializations in Economics and Finance and is a graduate of Queen’s College.
